Robotic Testing System 'roboTest L'

The robotic testing system 'roboTest L' (Linear) is used for fully automatic tensile tests on metallic specimens (e.g. to EN 10002-1, ASTM E8, JIS Z2201) or tensile and flexure tests on plastics specimens (e.g. to ISO 527-2 (1A, 1B, 1BA), ASTM D790 (IV) or ISO 178).

• System can be attached to materials testing machines from 5 to 250 kN.
• Magazine holds 160 to 600 specimens (depending on specimen dimensions).
• Specimens up to 1 kg can be tested.
• Removable magazine inserts can be filled at operator's workstation. Alternatively specimens can be added via the magazine during the automatic sequence.
• Manual tests can be performed whenever required – specimen feeder simply swings away for access.
• A separate version of roboTest L is available for testing 'O' rings. 
• 'roboTest L' can also be used for specimen feed to other machines (e.g. hardness measuring instruments, notch cutting machines).
• Control is via an industrial controller with autoEdition2 automation software. 
• Optional extras include barcode-reader, cross-section measuring device, HOST connection, accept-reject feature, disposal gripper and status display.
