Inductive Extensometers

These extensometers attached directly to the specimens and are designed for measuring strain in metals and plastics. They can be used for the whole range of elastic strain and offset yield measurement E-modulus determination and are available with manual or automatic attachment.

Advantages of the Inductive Extensometer

• The measuring system is located very close to the specimen and only small measuring levers are required, resulting in enhanced accuracy and reproducibility
• Very high resolution over the entire measurement range
• Two measuring systems for dual averaging measurement of outer fiber strain. There is also an option, where the signal of the both measuring systems can be read separately
• Suitable for tensile, compression and cyclic load testing
